SA History Week 2007

To mark South Australian History Week 2007, a special gathering at the Port Lincoln Railway Museum on 19 May witnessed two additions to the Museum. A new station nameboard above the entrance was officially 'unveiled' by Murray Wright (although high winds over the preceding few days meant that the covering was actually removed earlier).

Kitty Domagalski then officially opened a display honoring the 'Women of the West', the pioneering women behind the railway on the West Coast. Kitty had spent months preparing a series of display boards, and a suitably large crowd was on hand to absorb the presented material.
