Underframe from YF4973 which started life as broad gauge YY4295 in 1923. Converted to narrow gauge as YH4973, to Port Lincoln 1926. Converted to flat wagon YF4973 Jun 1952. Condemned 23 Mar 1972, reinstated 14 Nov 1972.
Body from PP7707 which was built as a P class insulated van in 1924/25 mounted on an ex-broad gauge G wagon underframe (the G class dating from the 1900s). To Port Lincoln 1925. Body mounted on an M van underframe, renumbered PP7707 Sep 1937.
Body ex 7707 and underframe ex 4973 mated 21 Dec 1972, used as maintenance fitter’s van. Condemned 21 May 1982.
