Built by Booth Bros (Whyalla) for Commonwealth Railways as standard gauge ballast hopper B1454, in service 24 Apr 1958. Recoded AHTF1454 on 2 Nov 1988. Fitted with experimental roll-top tarpaulin hatch cover for bulk grain. Converted to narrow gauge, to Port Lincoln mid-1999 for evaluation. Returned to standard gauge after 2001.
