Built for Commonwealth Railways at Port Augusta Workshops 1967 (part of group of ten GL and ten NGL class) on underframes from CR RB flat wagons (built 1943 by SAR). 1541 & 1544 were narrow gauge (NGL class) on the Central Australia Railway; condemned 8 Oct 1983, but reinstated and sent to Port Lincoln 26 Mar 1984. Recoded ENOL1-2 20 Feb 1985. Condemned by 1989.
