In April 1983 the workshops at Port Lincoln built a new weed spray train, using underframes and tanks from various earlier vehicles. Unlike previous trains where a separate spray cart and tank wagons were provided, in this case the train included a vehicle which was a combination spray cart and mixing tank. All three were condemned between April 1988 and March 1989.

NPS7717 / ENPS1. Spray equipment (probably ex 5969) and tank ex TW5981 (in turn a vehicle with a long heritage) mounted on underframe ex RPN7717 (another long history) to form combined poison spray cart and tank wagon. Issued Apr 1983 as NPS7717. Renumbered ENPS1 13 Dec 1984.
