FRN1-29

Cut down from ODN open wagons. Eight vehicles cut down as FNC class (retaining ODN numbers) Apr 1959, renumbered FRN22-29 in 1970. FRN1-10 ex ODN14012, 14015-14017, 14019, 14021, 14027, 14030, 14035 and 14037 respectively, 1965. FRN11-21 ex FRN14011, 14028, 14036, 14039, 14014, 14031, 14013, 14034, 14024, 14022 and 14033 respectively, 1967, although doors and stanchions had been removed 1965.

Used as general flat wagons, and for carrying track panels during upgrading of main lines.

FRN5, 9, 16, 19, 20 and 22 converted to TSN tank wagons 1975. FRN10 to double-tank wagon NPT10 Apr 1983. All others condemned 24 Jan 1985.
